Cudgera Creek Residence

This architecturally designed residence sits in the hinterland of Cudgera Creek in northern New South Wales, close to the Queensland border. Set among rolling hills, it looks out to the ocean across landscaped gardens.

The property lies in a Bushfire Attack Level – Flame Zone (BAL-FZ) area, so every external opening had to meet the most demanding bushfire requirements without closing the house off from its outlook. Wide steel-framed sliding doors run along the covered terrace, keeping the living spaces open to the view while meeting the rating the site demands.
